KOVAR a.s. made a significant financial contribution to the 16th annual charity cycling tour On Bike for Children, led by the legendary cyclist Josef Zimovčák, known for riding a historic high-wheel bicycle. The project, organized by his foundation, supports children undergoing cancer treatment through financial donations, therapeutic stays, and sports activities.

The entire peloton of around 130 riders stopped at our company premises in Leskovec, where Josef Zimovčák officially presented this year’s golden jersey to our CEO, Ing. Petr Cedidla, as a symbolic thank-you for KOVAR’s substantial financial support. Friendly encounters and refreshments on a hot day created a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.

Several KOVAR riders joined the peloton for the next stage of the tour, actively showing solidarity with families of children battling cancer.
