Since 2008, the City of Vsetín has been awarding the Corporate Philanthropy Award.

This award is given to companies for outstanding contributions in the field of giving and charity. This year, the Vsetín City Council decided to present the award to KOVAR a.s., in recognition of our long-standing commitment to helping address the needs of local organizations, not only in the social sector.

We support, for example, the social work of Diakonie Vsetín for seniors in Vsetín and the surrounding area – thanks in part to our support, the Vyhlídka senior home was built. We also donated respirators to Diakonie Vsetín and subsequently decided to grant the organization annual financial support.

We also assist families with small children – for instance, we regularly purchase breathing monitors for the Vsetín maternity hospital. We help people with multiple sclerosis, support primary and nursery schools, as well as the development of vocational training programmes and leisure activities such as folklore and sport.

We deeply appreciate the recognition we have received from the Vsetín City Council.
