Premises
Kovar a.s. resides in completely self-owned premises that comprise:
- welding halls (3 halls with cranes 3,2 – 20 tons) 2900m2
- 2 assembly halls 3200 m2
- blasting cabin 17 x 7 x 6m
- 3 painting cabins (up to 18 x 7m)
- material preparation 1350m2
- office rooms 650m2
Our buildings have been reconstructed and their thermal-insulation properties have been considerably improved.
The design department works with Autodesk programs, mainly with 2D Autocad Mechanical and 3D Inventor, all in their latest versions.
The machinery in Kovar comprises e.g. panel cutter (up to 10mm), band saw (up to d 350mm), folding brakes (up to 400ATM), forming press (up to 160ATM), welding machine MIG-MAG (up to 600A), plasma material cutter (up to 20mm), fork lifts 1,5 – 7,5t, forming machines, catalytic combustant technology for pollutant disposal etc.
